“Freida,” the non-binary pink lady, symbolizes the need for a balance of the anima and the animus in the western world. Freida conveys surreal dreams and fantasies driven by life experience and the human condition through universal Jungian symbols. Freida is featured in stage-like settings and represents the absurd, which is the “surreality” pitched to us through the media. The humor of the series is meant to draw the viewer in for a closer look at our society’s value system. The titles are intentional puns for the same reason..
