Souvenirs
We are but a collection of our memories, sweet and sour. As it is with memories, things get twisted and changed. Sometimes it is hard to know what is real and what is a story. Oftentimes we seek tokens of a memory to hold it close, to define it and to make it real. These tokens, keepsakes or souvenirs can transport us to the past, to the person who lived through the experience and to the future to become the person we are about to become.
Each piece in the “Souvenirs” series is dedicated to memories and the souvenirs of those memories. Souvenirs serve to remind us that memories are precious, treasured and not always as we recall them.
